ADVISORY COMMITTEE COACHES The Coaches Advisory Committee is a long-standing committee of the Jefferson Dad Vail Regatta. Its purpose is to give coaches a voice in advising the Board of Directors and its committees in the running of the regatta. The responsibilities of the Coaches Advisory Committee include providing input on important matters coming before the Board of Directors; providing a designated representative to serve on the Race Committee; seeding rowing teams for trials and heats; and having a representative of the Coaches Advisory Committee on the Board of Directors to ensure the coaches’ perspective is always being considered. The Coaches Advisory Committee is made up of representatives of the different rowing groups who comprise a large segment of the intercollegiate rowing community.
