This year we are separating the Women’s Division II and the Division III Events and eliminating the Women’s Frosh/Novice Ltwt eight for lack of entries.

As noted in the Regatta Instruction Bulletin (click to download), Wednesday, April 21st is the deadline for entries and all fees. Affiliate schools are guaranteed one entry in each event entered by the deadline. Non-Affiliate entries will be accepted on a space-available basis in each event, and on a first-come basis. Due to the size of the Regatta, double entries in any event will not be accepted.

*To enter the Women’s Varsity Hvwt Eight (Div II) event a boat must be from an NCAA Division II institution. Priority is given to boats from rowing programs eligible for participation in the NCAA Division II Rowing Championship. On a space-available basis, club crews from NCAA Division II institutions will be permitted to participate in this event.

**The Women's Varsity Hvwt Eight (Div. III) is open to any program that is eligible for participation in the NCAA Division III Women's Rowing Championships. Both first varsity and second varsity eights are eligible for this event. No more than two eights (1st and 2nd varsities) from an institution will be accepted in this event.

All events for the 2010 Aberdeen Dad Vail will be seeded. See the Regatta Bulletin for details. Lane assignment for all crews other than seeded crews will be a random draw. We will have Second Finals (places 7 thru 12) in the Men's and Women's Varsity Heavyweight Eight and the Women's Div. II & III Varsity Hvwt 8 finals.

We ask that each team provide 2 student volunteers to help with stake boats. Please email the student’s names and email addresses prior to the regatta to: tricia.winton@dadvail.org

Please be sure to read the Traffic Bulletin (click to download) and give each of your drivers a copy.

Please fill out a COACH’S QUESTIONAIRE (click to download) and return to me at rhmorinc@aol.com when you register.

Entries will be held up until the Coaches Questionaire is returned to me at: rhmorinc@aol.com

Please be sure to visit our new updated web site at http://dadvail.org for all of the materials and information needed to enter the 2010 Regatta and also obtain an Alumni Space Reservation Form (click to download).

We look forward to seeing you at the 72nd Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta.

Sincerely,

BOB MORRO
